Karen is a matchmaker, marrying clients’ diverse needs and The McIntosh Group’s unique services. She takes great pride in the long-term relationships she has built and maintained since joining the company in 2005. Finding great clients that are a match for The McIntosh Group’s expertise is what drives her.
Karen’s role crosses all markets – spending a lot of time in the retail, restaurant and hospitality markets.
In addition to working with the firm’s principals to develop and then oversee implementation of the business development plan, Karen manages human resources, payroll, accounting and the administrative functions at The McIntosh Group.
Karen studied human resources at the University of Alabama and Oklahoma State University. Karen is an active member of the USJCI Senate and the Oklahoma JCI Senate, is a past president of Leadership Tulsa and currently serves as the Board Liaison to Tulsa Changemakers (a program of Leadership Tulsa that empowers youth leaders to drive positive impact in Tulsa right now and in the future), serves on the annual golf tournament committee for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Eastern Oklahoma Chapter. In 2012 she was named a Woman of Distinction by the Tulsa Business Journal. In 2003 and 2012 she was a Leadership Tulsa Paragon Award honoree for her volunteer work. Karen is also active in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the US JCI Senate and is serving as the US JCI Senate Ambassador to Canada.
