ANSWER: There is no maximum length a compliant accessible ramp can be. However, a ramp is limited to a 30″ maximum rise and then a level landing must be provided before the rise continues. A ramp can slope no more than 1:12 (8.3%) and if the rise is 1:20 (5%) or less it is not considered a ramp.
