CREATING A BETTER WORLD

When we use sustainable design techniques, we improve buildings, communities and the lives of people who come through them. This philosophy is important to the way we approach our work and our jobs.

A fun work environment is a key ingredient to fostering innovation and staying passionate about your workplace. Silliness runs rampant through our hallways – just ask Sammy, Stella & Lulu – our office felines. When the going gets tough, they are always around to support us with their purrs, snuggles and entertaining antics – and the occasional hairball.

Serious about results, but easygoing and lovable. That sums us up.

Others are taking notice. The Tulsa Business Journal named The McIntosh Group a Best Places to Work Honoree in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, and the Journal Record recognized us as one of Tulsa’s Fast 40 in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

We were named an “Emerging Professional-Friendly Firm” by the AIA Central States Region, AIA Oklahoma or AIA Eastern Oklahoma every year since 2011.

COMMUNITY

While we love visiting our clients around the country, we never forget where we call home. Our employees are active volunteers in their professional communities and the community at large. We believe that by helping and learning from others, we grow and develop ourselves.

Professionally our employees are active volunteers with AIA, GreenCE, Leadership Tulsa, NACS, NATSO, Oklahoma Board of Licensed Architects, Tulsa Foundation for Engineering, Tulsa Foundation for Architecture, Tulsa Regional Chamber, Tulsa’s Young Professionals, SAME, USGBC and SMPS Oklahoma.

Because we work nationally, many of our employees travel a lot – which means they stay at a lot of hotels. When our employees return with unused toiletry items, we donate them to local nonprofits who can put them to good use, such as Family & Children’s Services and Domestic Violence Intervention Services.

Our charitable partnership with The Center For Individuals With Physical Challenges has had a profound impact on our Accessibility surveyors, who have discovered the deeper purpose of their work in ADA Compliance.

For decades, we’ve also reached out to those in need through other local nonprofits, including CAP Tulsa, OASIS Adult Day Services, Street School, The Salvation Army, Tulsa Area United Way, Tulsa Children’s Museum, Tulsa Girls Art School, Youth Services of Tulsa and YMCA Tulsa. Our time spent with these groups inspires us in our work and our efforts to make the world a happier, healthier place.
